Why is box 81 (designated for placement agency workers) forcing me to make my claim as a self-employed person? How do I tell the program I am not self-employed?

The program will not let me proceed until I fill out self-employment areas (form T2125) which I cannot.  My employer and I both agree they have employed me, yet because my income is in box 81 and not on line 101 (box 14), I'm being told (by the program) that I am self-employed.  How do I correct or bypass this to complete my return?

Box 81 on a T4 does indicate that you are self employed for tax purposes, and an employee for CPP and EI.  You are required to report the income from box 81 on the T2125 form, in Part 1 on the line "Sales, commissions, or fees."
