Are you reporting any Capital Losses from T5008 slips? Or have you maybe transposed the numbers and enter the dispositions as costs?

Usually, when this happens it's one of two things;

  1. Your T5008 slips are not being reported as "Capital Gains". There is a box on the T5008 page that should default to Capital Gains, but in rare cases, it may not.
  2. You have "Capital Losses" on these T5008 slips that are cancelling out your gains. (or possibly you've reported capital losses on other slips or in your Capital Gains Profile).

If neither of these applies to you, I'm going to suggest you contact our Support Team as they will be able to have a look at your actual tax return and determine what is causing this. To contact an agent: https://turbotax.community.intuit.ca/replies/3152013
