Will TURBOTAX TY20/WINDOWS 10 be able to bring forward data from TURBOTAX TY19 completed using WINDOWS 7

Hi, Thank you for using Intuit TurboTax AnswerXchange

TurboTax will allow carry forward of a return from a previous year, so, TY 2020 will be able to carry forward information from the previous year only, TY19 in this case. The carry forward feature is based of the file extension of the TurboTax file not the version of windows. Also if the tax file is moved from one computer to another, TurboTax can open or carry forward a TurboTax tax file in the appropriate version of TurboTax.

So, yes the carry forward feature is available in this scenario.

Hope this helps
