Can I reinstall turbo tax?

 after downloading the last turbo tax update, a message popped up " there was an error: uninstall and reinstall Turbo Tax". I have a lot of data on my current version and in addition, I understand that the key code on the cd is valid for only one installation. what should I do ?

Yes, you can reinstall TurboTax. Download and install from this page: https://turbotax.intuit.ca/product/download/index.jsp

When prompted to enter your code, enter the code printed on your CD envelope.

You'll be able to open returns you've already started, no problem.

I installed turbotax ,but it couldnt open. I deleted. I am trying to reinstalled, but it pop up installed.

To uninstall your TurboTax correctly please follow the steps below:

To uninstall the TurboTax CD/download edition, complete the following steps.

A list of programs appears.

1. Enter “uninstall” in the Type here to search field at the bottom-left area of your screen.
2. Select Add or remove programs from the options that appear.
3. Enter “TurboTax” in the Search this list field on the Apps features step.
4. Select the TurboTax program you want to uninstall.
5. Select Uninstall in the section associated with that TurboTax program.
6. Select Uninstall in the window that appears.
