After completing my tax return, I get a message re carrying charges. What are these and how do I claim. I did not get a T5013 slip.
You may be able to claim certain expenses incurred to earn income from investments. These include interest paid to earn interest, dividend and royalty income, and investment management and advice.
In TurboTax Online, go to Income > Investment Expenses.
In TurboTax Desktop, select Find in the top right corner. Type Invest, select Investment expenses, then click Go.
