Cannot remove the tuition transfer on my child and my own return (using Easystep). I have unchecked the boxes on both returns but the transfer remains.

I initially clicked the box to transfer tuition (using the Easystep interview) on both my return and my child's. The software made the transfer but there was no benefit to me in doing so. I have  Once it was clear it was not beneficial, I unchecked the boxes in both returns but doing so has not removed the transfer. As this affects the carry-forward of the tuition for my child, how do I remove the transfer?

@barrydhart when you want to remove an amount, you have to first make the amount $0 where you entered it and then uncheck the box in easystep. Unchecking the box in Easystep does not delete the amount from your return.
