Can I attach stock trade details or import the details into TurboTax?

No, unfortunately not. If the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) needs this information, then they will request it after you have filed your return.

I appreciate the clarification. To ensure I'm following the correct procedure with my numerous trades summarized in a CRA-compliant file, I'm seeking to understand if I can upload this file directly into TurboTax for my CRA reporting. Given the volume, manually inputting each trade isn't feasible. Is the suggestion to report overall values now and provide the detailed file only if requested by the CRA? Looking for the best approach to handle this in TurboTax.

No you cannot upload the file and yes you are to report your values as seen on your information slips. Please see our TurboTax article: Taxes on Investments: All You Need To Know
