Having trouble importing data from CRA site. I have lots of T5008 data. Can I just skip t his question until I have capital gains to report?
You do not have to use the information available from CRA, you can calculate independently your own Capital Gain or loss. All transactions occurring in a year should be reported either individually or in aggregate.
