How do I delete the disability transfer amount for my child? My partner already claimed the tax credit on her return.

To do this in TurboTax Online:

• Use the Find tool (magnifying glass) to search for "claim"
• Select "Claims For Dependants" from the list, and then click the Go button
• Click "Continue"
• Click "Enter Credit Info" next to the dependant to go to the "Claim Dependant Credits for [Name]" page
• Click "Continue" until you get to the "Disability Transfer" page.
• Answer NO to the question "Do you wish to make the claim for the disability amount transferred from [Name]?"
• Click "Continue" to save your changes.

If you want, you can also go back to the "Claim Dependant Credits for [Name]" page to uncheck the "Disability amount transfer" box. Click "Continue" to save the change.
