I have two sons in university. When I take the statement each of my son's return generated over to my return, the application mixes up the amount I can transfer for each

Each of my son's returns were prepared in Turbo tax and I used the transfer statement at the end of each return.   I have double checked that I have entered each son's details on my return correctly.  When I click the "tuition transfer" button, the application tells the that the max I can claim for son 1 is actually the amount for son 2.  Similarly, for son 2, the max I can transfer is for son 1.  I don't think it matters as the correct dependant deduction shows up on my return, but I caused me much confusion preparing my taxes last night.

This seems to be an application bug.

We apologize for the confusion you encountered when transferring your dependants' tuition amounts. Our team is now aware of this bug in the software and will work to correct it. Thanks for pointing this out.
