Can I import data from another tax software program. Going to do taxes for someone who used to pay to have them done by a tax/accounting company. I can get the export file but need to know if I have to start over or can import last year's return.

No, you can't transfer information from another software's tax return files. However, if you are using TurboTax Online, you can transfer basic info (like Contact info, SIN, etc...) using the PDF of the previous year's return.
