    in previous year I used the desk top version but now switching to online. Ho do I transfer previous returns to online?

    When you start a new return, TurboTax Do It Yourself (Online) will ask you how you did your taxes last year. If you answer TurboTax Desktop, you'll get the option to upload your return file from the previous year.
