When using TurboTax Standard, enter your dependant information in the Setting Up section of your income tax return. When you get to the Deductions section of your income tax return, answer yes to the question, "Would you like to review or claim any of these credits?" on the Claims for Dependants section. Click Continue. Click on Enter Credit Info next to your dependant's name. Put a checkmark next to, "Disability amount transfer" and click on Continue. Answer Yes to the question, "Do you wish to make the claim for the disability amount transferred from?" on the Disability Transfer page. The provincial claim for the disability amount will calculate automatically and will show once you pay for your tax return.
