Am I considered an owner or a tenant if I live alone in on of my parents' properties? I pay the mortgage $1000/month but no lease agreement. It's a verbal agreement only

If your parent's names are the ones on the mortgage agreement, you are a tenant regardless if you are the one making the mortgage payments.
