As a student in nova scotia can i claim rent paid for my residence there if my principle residence is in ontario?

Hi there,

Great question !

Unfortunately, Nova Scotia rent would not qualify for this credit as it is an Ontario only credit. Only rent paid in Ontario would qualify.
