Can I claim Land Transfer Tax? I work from home & Line 8760 links to a CRA page that says: “Eg. of business taxes that may be deductible are: Land transfer taxes... etc."

Line 8760 of the T2125 is “Business taxes, licences and memberships.” I have a Sole Proprietorship and regularly claim business expenses pertaining to "Business use of home".

You cannot deduct land transfer taxes as a self-employed person for that expense you paid when you bought your property. Add these amounts to the cost of the property. For more information refer to CRA article "Rental expenses you cannot deduct - Canada.ca
