Can I claim Macbook purchase as sole proprietor if I work from home but don't pay rent or mortgage?

I recently bought a new Macbook that I use for work. Sole proprietorship and I work from home exclusively but don't pay rent or mortgage right now.

Can I claim this purchase still as CCA or another expense?

Yes you can claim it.  You would record the purchase and claim amortization on the cost, as you will not claim the total cost in one year.

Do you know what section it is in on TurboTax 2017 online? I've done it previous times in other years but can't find it now. I thought it was under Business-in-home expenses?

Nevermind, found it under Business Expenses. It wouldn't take me there through the wizard though.
