Can I claim renovation expenses for my new condo. This condo apt. is my principle residence.

I separated with my wife and last year purchased my own condo apt.

I spent more than $30 000 on renovation

If the renovations were for the purpose of making the dwelling more accessible for someone who is disabled, then yes.  Otherwise, no.  Please review the following links:
