Can I claim renovations on primary residence performed to convert into a rental unit? Renovations were performed to bring residence to 'rental condition'.

Renovations done prior to rental income.  Renovations included new kitchen cabinets, flooring, paint, lighting, plumbing fixtures.  What CCA class?

Unfortunately, you can't claim expenses that were done on your primary residence.  As per CRA: The renovations must have been made to allow a qualifying individual to gain access to, or to be mobile or functional within the home or, to reduce the risk of harm to the qualifying individual within the home or when accessing the home.
