Can i deduct utilities for the house we own in alberta as wwe are paying all of the utilities, including power, gas and water? also are the property taxes deductible?

If the property you own in Alberta is a rental then yes, you can claim utilities and property taxes.

As per CRA- 

The following is a list of expenses that are deductible:
