Can I reduce my tax by applying foreign tax credit calculated on income tax paid in Japan
Yes, if you paid taxes on your foreign income and your country has a treaty with Canada, you can complete the foreign tax credit and won't be double-taxed. You will click on the top of your return on "Find" and type in foreign tax credit- GO. You will then be able to enter your information there.
