Capital gains exemptions

Is there a capital gains exemption when a second home is sold that was not a vacation home or a rental property and it was bought to assist an adult child with a learning disability and at a time of need.

Unfortunately, the information is unclear about the use of a second residence for an adult child being eligible for a capital gains exemption. To get clarification about this, we suggest you Contact the Canada Revenue Agency.
