It depends. If the home was sold and she received money from that sale without ever having ownership, she likely doesn't have to report the income. If she got part ownership, and then the home was sold, then yes, she would have to report that income on here 2019 tax return. If the home wasn't sold, and she just has part ownership, then she doesn't have to report anything until the home is sold.
