Hi! I am currently a factual resident of Canada - studying abroad. What should I put as my address on my tax return, the province where I lived or my current address?

I left the country (temporarily) at the end of August 2023 and still have strong residential ties to Canada. My address on the CRA website is my current foreign address.

If your address on your CRA "My Account" is your foreign address, and you are still residing there, then yes, you can put that same address. If you enter a different one you will need to print and mail or fax your return as the CRA will not have the same information on file.

Where do email your T1 return.
