My mother-in-law is a (very) senior citizen. She has only pension (CPP + OAS + work pension (more than one company)) and some investment income. All income is reported on T-Slips which were Auto-Fill into TurboTax from CRA. TurboTax on the "Deductions and credits claimed" screen is reporting that it has claimed the "Canada employment amount" for her! As per CRA she clearly has NO employment income and should *not* be claiming this. How do I remove this claim? OR??? am I wrong ????
UPDATE EDIT : Subsequent research makes me believe that possibly one of her T4A slips reporting "Premiums paid to a group term life insurance plan" might be possibly causing this... I thought best to add this information to this post in case it was helpful. Thank you in advance for any replies !
