I did not have any document to verify my FMV when I immigrated to Canada last year because I did not know about it for tax T1135. How can I report or verify the FMV?

When I immigrated I did not know that I had to report my vacant house back home on T1135, so I did not have any support document to verify the FMV. What I should do? Can I use the FMV for similar house listed on any real estate website this year to report?

Hi there. Yes, it's ok to use a FMV of a comparable home if you don't have property tax statements.
