I had to pay royalties. 10% is supposed to go to CRA. Where do I claim that amount?

My franchisor requires me to pay a monthly royalty fee to them. They take 10% off the top and bill me the difference. I'm supposed to send the 10% to CRA myself, but don't know where to claim that amount. Where do I send it, or where do I put that on my T2125?

Hi . What i can suggest to you, is to contact CRA to ask them how you need to process this amount. It depends if you are incorporated or not.

You will be able to reach them at this number: 1-800-267-6999

They will help you with your question
