I have a rental property that is seasonal ( it is open for renters for 6 months and the other 6 months it is vacant) What can I claim for expenses?

If your attempt to rent out you property for the full 12 months of the year, but were only success full in renting it out for 6, then you can claim the full amount expenses for the.

If the property is only available for rent for 6 months out of the year, then you have to prorate expenses to include only those 6 months.
