I have never left alberta. I am a senior. Doing my own tax this year and wondering if I claim northern living allowance?

You would need to live in a prescribed zone to be eligible for the Northern Residents deduction.

thank you Janelle. And how many days can I qualify for if I live in 'B' zone?

It is based on how many days you permanently lived in the zone, must be a minimum of a 6 month period either beginning or ending in tax year.
