How to efficiently enter capital gain/loss data for a joint investment account?

I’m preparing the tax for me & my spouse together (as per Turbo Tax recommendation). How can I apply/copy same Schedule 3 (S3) & its Supplement (S3S) to the spouse in the case of a joint investment account? Do I have to manually reenter the lines separately? We have a few hundred lines => what would you recommend in this case? (It’s acceptable to enter them once but it is a big time loss if I have to do it twice)

I see you are using the desktop version of Turbotax.

Go to the Forms method.

Go to the Schedule 3 and enter Half of the gains on one person's return.

Click edit at the top toolbar > forms> copy/transfer current form

This will copy all the info to the other spouse's return.

The number of our joint capital gains/losses transactions is over 300 and that doesn't fit onto the provided Schedule 3 & Schedule 3 Supplement forms. Can I:
• create an Excel file with similar format as the Schedule 3 that lists all the transactions & calculates the total for the ‘Proceeds of Disposition’ & ‘Adjusted Cost Base’ fields.
• enter the total values  on the TurboTax provided Schedule 3 & specify that the detailed info is provided  in an attached file,
• attach/load the Excel file to the TurboTax for the purpose of filing it through Netfile.

Do the first one and enter ONE total for POD and ACB etc if you prefer. Keep the excel file in case CRA asks. Never send anything without being invited to do so.
