I sold my principle home in 2024. It was never a rental or income property. Do I need to input information from this sale into my taxes?

I bought when prices were low and sold high.

Yes. Since 2016, the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) requires the sale of a principal residence to be reported on your income tax return. This TurboTax Canada FAQ tells you how: How do I report the sale of my home (principal residence)?
