If I fundraise through facebook in Canada for supporting a educational project team in Asia, Is there any tax related issue?

I want to raise money for an educational project team from my undergraduate university in Bangladesh. Right now I am in Canada and living here. Is there any tax-related issue with that?

Depending on the amount of money raised and the intended use of the funds will determine your domestic and foreign tax obligations:
