To do this in TurboTax Online Self-Employed:
- Click on the “Find” icon in the blue menu and search for “Self”. Select “Self-Employment Summary” and then click the “Go” button.
- Click “Edit” next to the business you want to make changes to.
- Click on the “Business-use-of-home expenses” near the bottom of the list.
- In the “Did you use a part of your home for work?” section, you can answer questions regarding your home office space. You can put your rent in as an “Other Expense”.
