Imported T3 from CRA not using "Foreign Income Tax paid on Investment".

I imported my tax slips directly from CRA, which included a T3 with "Foreign Income Tax paid on Investment". That value was pulled into TurboTax but was NOT being used and did not appear on the Return Summary > Credits and Deductions Summary > Foreign tax credit/other.

I had to go and manually edit the T3, the "Foreign Income Tax paid on Investment" value was in box 34. But when I went to leave the screen, it gave an error on "Source country of foreign income". Which was blank.

TurboTax should filled in that field or flagged me of the error.
If I hadn't noticed the missing credit, TurboTax would have filed it without using the foreign tax in the calculations.

Can you pls define what country #2 and country #3 is.  It is very unclear and there is no definition that I can find out line or within the program.

The 1st one is saved for the US so if you are claiming from a different country other than the USA you can use either country #2 or #3.
