I work in Canada but live in the states with my husband who's filled his taxes already. DO I claim his taxes on my taxes and do I claim non resident or deemed non resident.
No, you don’t need to claim his taxes paid on you return. You only need to put some basic info, and his income. You can put your spouse's SIN as 000 000 000. Also, unless you can prove that you supported your spouse (with money transfer, etc…), then it’s best not to take the spousal amount: https://turbotax.community.intuit.ca/replies/2647950
