My marital status changed for this tax return however my spouse was not a permanent resident and was not working in Canada. Do I claim no income for her?

Yes, you will claim no income if she never had any income at all in tax year 2023 in Canada or in her home country.

Thank you for choosing TurboTax.

She earned in her home country. Do I include that money converted to Canadian dollars?

Yes, you will need to claim what she made in her country 🙂
