I own a second residence, in lethbridge, alberta. it is rented out. can I claim a deduction of the interest paid on that property mortgage - as well as the property tax?

You can deduct property tax assessed by the province or territory that affects your rental property. Interest charge on the money you borrow to buy or improve your rental property can be deducted from your rental income.
