No. She becomes your partner when she owns shares in the business: shares the revenue and pays taxes.
If she works under you > she becomes an employee.
It is tricky when you employ a family member in the business > to be able to claim it as an expense > you have to pay her the same salary you would have paid a regular employee to do the job. And you have to issue her a T4 slip if her income was above $500.
