IS my "gross" income from rental property the amount AFTER mortgage payment? If it's the amount BEFORE mortgage payment, where do I enter mortgage info?

Hi, thank you for using Intuit turbotax Live Community

Your gross income from rental is the actual amount you received from your tenant(s). You report all rental income on Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) form T776. After you report your income on the T776 there is a section to report the associated expenses. There is a row for interest expense in the expense section of the T776.

Hope this helps
