If your spouse does not have any income from Canadian sources, you need to enter $0.

You pay taxes on the income you receive from sources in Canada if you are not a resident of Canada. Your income determines the type of tax you pay and whether you need to file an income tax return. Generally, non-residents who receive payment from Canada are subject to Part XIII tax or Part I tax.
