The CRA won't let me file. I get a message - #93 - The total of your rental and/or self-employment net income doesn't match my financial statements. How do I fix this?

I am not selecting business income on my profile, rather selecting OTHER INCOME to report my rental income.  But it's telling me that my net rental income doesn't match my net reported income on line 9946 of my financial statements.  I have no idea what that is or where it comes from.  It says that I may have completed form T1139 but I have not.

You need to input your rental income properly.  You may have answered the question regarding rental income, but instead of using the correct form for the income and expenses, you dumped it under other income.  It might be faster to just begin again.  You will not be able to claim any expenses if not done in the rental income forms.

I see that there are forms somewhere but I can't find any on the blue line.  Is that what you mean?  Do I have to fill out something outside of my online return?  So if it isn't under Other Income then do I select that I have Business Income?

Click on the income tab and scroll down to rental income.
