Do the last 2 partners of a 3 part ownership have to declare that the house was left to them after the death of 1 ?
The estate will handle the deemed disposition of the 1/3 share and declare the value for proceeds. These proceeds become the addition to your Adjusted Cost Base (ACB) when you sell your share of the property in the future.
