Can I claim rent my mother in law pays in nursing home under Ontario senior Homeowners Property Tax Grant?
The Ontario Senior Homeowners Property Tax Grant relates to "property taxes" paid on a property that you own in Ontario. Rent paid to a nursing home does not qualify as property taxes for purposes of the grant.
