The program is asking me for my spouses net income for 2017 (Line 236 of his/her 2017 federal tax return) She does not have one. she has not filed her taxes yet

If you are trying to file your income tax and you do not have your spouse's income, the Canada Revenue Agency suggests that you do your best to estimate the amount.
