I purchased the software and began filling out my taxes as usual, only to notice the program was giving me an auto refund of $154. Is this a new rebate in Ontario?

I've tried my own, my mother's, and my stepfathers - as I do all of our taxes. A refund of $154 pops up immediately after entering JUST our personal information - no T4s, nothing else. Is this a new rebate in Ontario, or an error in the system?

There is a new refundable rebate in ON called the Climate Action Incentive. This cash credit is available to all residents of Ontario and is an advance payment against increased costs related to the Carbon Tax beginning in 2019.
