Turbotax wants me to upgrade for rental income for 120 dollars. but nowhere in my return information did I say I have rental income. how do I bypass this?

Did you have rental income last year? If so and you transferred your return into year, then that information would have been transferred into your return for this year. So, if you have rental income this year, then you 'd need to a completely brand new return.
