Using Turbotax Canada I put in capital gains info, but Turbotax puts all the capital gains, rather then just 50%, in as taxable capital gains. What am I doing wrong?

If my principal residence is owned by my parents and they pay the property tax, am I allowed to claim the OEPTC tax credit?
