We sold a residential home(primary) and bought a condominium last yearDo we have to report this??david pelon

The condominium is our only residence

You are required to report the sale of your primary residence, yes.  If and when you sell your condo, if you were living in it the whole time you owned it, you would also report that as the sale of your primary residence.
