Where do I claim a capital gain when selling a rental property? Does Turbo Tax do the calculations when doing this capital gain?

In order to find the page to claim capital gains on selling rental property using TurboTax Online Premier, you need to follow these steps:

• Look towards the navigation menu on the left side of the page and click Income > Investments > Capital Gains and Capital Gains Deductions Profile.
• Select the type of Capital Property
• Fill in the appropriate information (Proceeds of Disposition, Adjusted Cost Base & Outlays and Expenses)
• Once you've filled in all of the information you can click "Enter New Dispositions" and TurboTax will calculate your capital gain
