Where do I claim mortgage interest

On the mortgage paid between my husband and I we have 7072.23 of interest paid during the period, where do I claim it ?

Where do I claim mortgage interest

Mortgage interest is considered a personal expense and therefore is not deductible unless the property is used for earning rental income or business income.

Is the property a rental or business?  This will determine WHERE the interest should be claimed
